As you all know, our school became bilingual last year. It is part of
PIBLEA (Programa Integral de Bilingüismo en Lenguas Extranjeras en
Aragón). The main objective of our bilingual programme is to implement an
integrated curriculum in which English is the primary language of
instruction for some subject areas, starting when our students are
young. Our model is CILE 1, which means that at least 20% of instruction needs
to be in English. So far, Infants Year 1 and Primary Years 1 and 2 are
following the programme. The implementation of the programme with older students will continue over the next few years.

Como todos sabéis, nuestro colegio es bilingüe desde el curso pasado, formando parte del PIBLEA (Programa Integral de Bilingüismo en Lenguas Extranjeras en Aragón). El objetivo principal de nuestro proyecto bilingüe es implantar un currículo integrado en el que la lengua inglesa sea la lengua vehicular de algunas áreas no lingüísticas y hacerlo desde una edad temprana (3-6 años). Seguimos el modelo CILE 1, lo que significa que al menos el 20% del horario lectivo tiene que ser en inglés. Hasta ahora, el proyecto está implantado en 1º de Infantil y 1º y 2º de Primaria. El resto de los cursos se irán sumando en los próximos años.
