In Dolphins´ classroom we love to sing and do
different activities in English. This
week, dolphins have enjoyed
performing an activity in English
to learn the different instruments:
piano, trumpet, flute, violin, maracas, tambourine, xylophone and
guitar, among many others. Each
of the dolphins brought an instrument to class to
hear how it sounded and what their shape was. We played a lot and share our
instruments with our friends! Cristina had brought a guitar, so we sang to the rhythm of the guitar songs such as:
If you are happy; Head, shoulders, knees and
toes or Clap your
hands. We really enjoyed and learned
a lot!

Jelly and jam jiggling on the plate!
Since last year, our pre-school has a
new tool to improve English pronunciation; Jolly Phonics. Every know and
then we learn the pronunciation of a new phonic. Each phonic has its
own gesture, song and object. This time, lion and elephant classes have
been learning the phonic 'j', so we made a strawberry jelly all
together. The best part, of course, was eating it next day while we
jiggled, played and sang. We had a great time learning!
